About

The Therapists in Disability and Schools Network is a professional special interest group for speech pathologists, occupational therapists, music therapists and psychologists who have an interest in or are currently working with disability in schools. The group will meet 3 times per year to discuss up-to-date information on models of service delivery, the National Disability Insurance Scheme, research and project initiatives. Topics of discussion will also cover areas related to therapy backgrounds, disability and education as requested by the members, and speakers from within and outside the group will be invited to present or lead discussions. Attendees are encouraged to participate in professional discussion and share resources.

All therapy backgrounds and knowledge levels are welcome from new graduates through to experienced clinicians working in a variety of settings such as schools, private practice and community based services. This network will provide a unique opportunity to connect with other professionals working in this growing field.
